Former cinema at seaside

Places you can pop in and out of all day are always a treat and CT Coffee & Coconuts is no exception. It’s a popular place for locals to come and work or meet friends or co-workers for a coffee, healthy lunch or a glass of fine wine.

“The old cinema atmosphere has gone. You feel just like you’re in a beach pavilion here.”

CT Coffee & Coconuts is located in the old Ceintuur Theater on the Ceintuurbaan. Apart from the facade, you won’t recognise anything of the former cinema. The building reminds us more of a beach pavilion. All that’s missing is the sea view. The atmosphere is relaxed and the three floors of the building offer plenty of seating choice: from bean bags and hanging sofas to tables at which you can work. The menu lists a choice of food to replenish your energy reserves.

Nice to know

The Sarphatipark is within walking distance of CT Coffee & Coconuts. Thanks to doctor and philanthropist Samuel Sarphati, plans to build Centraal Station there in the 19th century were cancelled. Instead, he initiated the creation of a park in the style of an English landscape. Locals who go there in the summer to picnic and have barbecues are still grateful to him.
