With a pointed hat, a book of challenges and a knapsack on their back, all supplied by the restaurant, they head off into the woods to earn their Gnome Diploma.
Children can walk the Gnome Path with pointed hat, a book of challenges and a knapsack on their back.
The Gnome Path starts at Restaurant ‘t Hoogt in the middle of a stunning nature reserve consisting of forest, dunes and heather. It’s a popular place to stop for a coffee or well-earned lunch among passing hikers and cyclists.
Within walking distance of the restaurant, we find the National Military Museum where you can journey through the military history of the Netherlands. There’s also plenty for children to see and do. In the interactive zone, Xplore, they can sit in an F-16 simulator.
