Natuur Speeleiland adventure playground for rugged rascals and little adventurers is where kids can run around outdoors all day building dens, splashing in puddles, finding insects and rolling around in the grass.
At Natuur Speeleiland, children aged 4 to 12 are encouraged to get out and explore nature independently or with friends. Mums and dads are of course welcome too, but while the kids are chasing butterflies, messing about with planks or studying bugs, you can relax with a coffee in the neighbouring Veerkwartier café. There is a strong chance you’ll have trouble getting the kids away as there’s so much discover and fun to be had.

Natuur Speeleiland is near Veerplas swimming lake, nicknamed the PTT (telecom) lake due to the nearby transmission tower, and is part of the Spaarnwoude recreation area. In summer it’s very popular with Haarlem families.
