You won’t get bored in Park Oog in Al. There’s plenty of space to kick a ball around or you can visit the animal enclosure. When you need some refreshment you can head off with the family to one of the nearby cafés or restaurants.
Park Oog in Al is one of the quietest parks in Utrecht and popular with the residents of the district that shares its name. The park gets its name from the Oog in Al estate around which it was created. Go for a nice walk along the water or take the kids to see the fallow deer in the animal enclosure. There’s also a play area with sandpit. The park has an old teahouse and the remains of a German bunker from the Second World War. Over the next few years the park will undergo a major overhaul.

There’s a popular venue just outside the park: Buurten in de Fabriek, on Kanaalweg 91. You can come here 365 days a year from early morning until late in the evening for coffee, lunch, dinner or a drink. Children are also more than welcome.
