Water and nature, sport and city life – at Stayokay Dordrecht, you’ll find it all. Nestled amongst the pollarded willows, hidden away in the greenery, lies a spot that makes you think: oh, how lovely! Come and discover our beautiful Stayokay campsite, right in the heart of De Biesbosch!

The ultimate camping experience, as you can step straight out of your tent into nature. Also a perfect spot for group hire or a school camp where you can get to know the real outdoors!

In short

The campsite comprises 11 paved pitches. The grassy area has space for 32 tents. In addition, there are 16 comfortable sleeping places in the sustainable Wikkelhouses. A bit of comfort for the teachers? Check! There are lovely picnic tables, a playground and keen players can let loose with a game of table tennis! So don’t forget your bats, or borrow them from reception at the hostel.

Settle down on the terrace and enjoy the stunning views, the boats passing by and the sunshine. You’ll probably never want to leave!

Camping Facilities

Eat, sleep, camp, repeat

If you’re camping with us, you can count on good, clean facilities. The toilet block has separate showers and toilets for men and women. Make the most of our adjacent Stayokay Dordrecht hostel and enjoy the takeaway sandwich service. Had enough of camping chairs? You’re very welcome at our bar and on the terrace.

Out and about

The best Biesbosch tips
  • Rent a bike for only €15 per day.
  • Rent a canoe or go supping at Drijf Dordrecht, or book a boat (trip) via Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht.
  • Prefer someone else do the driving? There are a few boat-tour companies we can recommend. They'll even pick you up right at the campsite.
  • Sail with the water bus to the centre of historic Dordrecht, World Heritage Kinderdijk or cosmopolitan port city Rotterdam.
  • Biesbosch Museum Island, with an exhibition about the history of the national park, is easily accessible by bike.
  • Play & swim at Merwelanden recreation area, with natural playground equipment, swimming lake and beach.
  • Visit the Nieuwe Dordtse Biesbosch, a tidal area with an extensive hiking network. A must for bird watchers.

The campsite is open from 1 April to 31 October.
